Rachel is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, with over 15 years’ experience. She studied Law at the University of Nairobi, and took her Masters studies in International Legal Studies in Washington DC at Georgetown University.

She is a private consultant providing support to businesses and business member organizations to build strategies and execute policy advocacy affecting either individual business or sectors. She is also widely experienced in organizational growth and corporate governance, resource mobilization and partnership engagements and she provides advisory services to different organisations in these areas.

She was previously the Deputy Chief Executive Officer at the Kenya Private Sector Alliance and has worked in different organisations in executive roles. Rachel was recognized by the Business Daily in 2015 in their Top 40 Under 40 Women Award. In August of 2018, the International Olympics Committee awarded Rachel the Trophy Award for Africa, in recognition of her contribution to the rights of women and access to sports.
