Organizations such as Kenya Export Promotion & Brand Agency (KEPROBA) and Lapsset Corridor Development Authority showed their support to Turkana and offered solutions to some of the challenges faced by Turkana businesses.

BSD Group and Ipsos have launched an inaugural innovative market study which seeks to identify most loved brands by women in Kenya. The launch was held at Serena Hotel with Hon. Rachel Shebesh gracing the event. It was successful launch from both organizations and interesting to see the brands loved by Kenyan women.

The purpose of this webinar was to discuss the back to business protocols that were being implemented as part of the COVID 19 response in Kenya. Ideas on ways to ensure that small businesses in the key sectors of retail, hospitality and pharmaceutical were shared to ensure businesses were able to stay afloat despite the economic challenges. Private sector associations have been on the forefront of expressing the plight of small businesses to engage with the back to business protocols. The webinar provided a platform for the Retail Traders Association of Kenya, the Kenya Pharmaceutical Association and the Turkana Chamber to engage with their members and other businesses on these important issues. Further they were able to make specific recommendations to County & National Governments on policy and administrative issues that need to be addressed to create a business friendly environment.

The edition in the series focused on how businesses can leverage digital communication to boost your business. The focus was on the use of bulk SMS and the ways that it can be used to increase the customer base and ensure clients have the necessary information as they interact with the business.
